Ali is an electrochemistry Scientist developing hydrogen technology research, particularly the metrology of electrochemical techniques which help the commercialisation and development of hydrogen and battery technologies and electrocatalysis. With a strong science communication background and his experience as a science writer and content developer, Ali uses his role in research to develop industrial reports and articles related to electrochemistry.
Ali received a first-class honours MSci degree from Imperial College London University. He then completed electrochemical research in the Netherlands involving a successful electrocatalyst while working with the Catalysis and Surface Chemistry (CASC) group at Leiden University. Ali joined NPL in 2022.
