An NPL certificate, UKAS accredited to ISO 17025, is issued providing a calibration in fC cm-3 including a detection efficiency.
NPL’s calibration and measurement capabilities (CMCs) for FCE calibrations have been agreed internationally by the Gas Analysis Working Group of CCQM, in support of the mutual recognition arrangement of the CIPM. The expanded relative uncertainty of NPL’s FCE calibrations is typically 3 %.
