Toby is a scientist working in NPL’s Electrochemistry Group, working as part of the Net Zero graduate programme. Currently, his main area of work is in electrochemical hydrogen pumps and compressors. Previously, he worked at Canterbury University, New Zealand, as a research assistant investigating mass transfer in novel redox flow batteries. Toby graduated from Loughborough University with an MEng in Chemical Engineering in 2021 and joined NPL in September 2022.
