Ines Camacho is the HSE Laboratory Manager/Adviser of NPL's Biometrology group.
Ines joined NPL in 2018 as a Higher Research Scientist and started her role as HSE Lab Manager/Adviser on a voluntary basis in 2022, moving to full-time in 2024. She has a PhD in Biophysical and Structural Chemistry from The University of Manchester, a strong background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Spectroscopy, and more than 10 years' experience working in a laboratory environment.
As well as carrying out her role, she enjoys participating in NPL’s outreach events.
