Artem has a background in chemical biology graduating from University of Oxford (MRes) in 2019 after which he completed his masters at Royal Holloway, University London. Artem Shesterikov joined NPL in May 2021 as a shared PhD student between the QIP group and Royal Holloway, University London.
His research is focused on the fabrication and use of superconducting qubits.
As a former chemical biologist, Artem is interested in simulating real biomolecules using quantum computers.
