Murat Celep received his degree in BEng in 1999, MSc in 2007 and PhD in 2013 in Electronic and Communication Engineering from the Kocaeli University. He was worked for National Metrology Institute of Turkey (TUBITAK UME) from 1997 to before joining the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). He has over 20 years of experience working in areas of RF and microwave power, S-parameters, microwave noise, attenuation and EMC calibrations. He was coordinated the EMPIR RFMicrowave project (May 2016 – May 2019), funded by EURAMET (the European Association of National Metrology Institutes).
He joined the NPL in 2020 as a Senior Research Scientist where his main role is to develop and improve measurement techniques for guided RF and microwave metrology. He has authored or co-authored over 40 publications in the field. Murat is a Senior Member of IEEE.
