For people, place, prosperity and planet, we deliver impact with measurement science

Eve Clulow

Eve Clulow

Graduate Scientist

Eve joined Time and Frequency in the 2024 graduate scheme, and is currently testing rubidium vapour cells for use in future holdover clocks. She is also involved in laser characterisation, specifically on analysis of linewidth measurements. This work at NPL follows an integrated Master’s degree in Physics at Lancaster University, with a final research project on characterising spin resonances to determine relaxation times for an atomic clock based on endohedral fullerenes.

Areas of Interest

  • Testing and analysis of the behaviour of atomic resonances for frequency standards
  • Characterisation of narrow-linewidth laser systems
