Alina Zoladek-Lemanczyk obtained her BSc in Applied Physics and Optoelectronic from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. She then move to UK, where she continued her studies in the Nanoscience Group at the University of Nottingham. Alina received a PhD in 2011 for work in the field of Raman micro-spectroscopy of living cells. Afterwards she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London, where her work was mostly focused on Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS) technique, which is a novel approach to nanoscopic chemical imaging. Having joined the Electrochemistry and Corrosion Group at NPL in September 2012, Alina is currently interested in development of Raman spectroscopy and AFM techniques for the characterization of organic photovoltaics and other thin film devices.
Current interests
- Metrology of organic photovoltaics and printed electronics
- Photocurrent AFM
- Raman spectroscopy (polarised Raman, TERS)
