Thermology Health, a medical technology company and spin-out from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), today announced the appointment of Yuval Yashiv as its new CEO.
Yuval joins Thermology Health with a wealth of experience, including co-founding IRISS Medical Technologies, an ophthalmic medical device company where he held the position of both co-founder and CEO. Prior to co-founding IRISS, Yuval served as CEO of 3i-backed software company Pixology Plc, and also as a venture capitalist at Eurovestech Plc.
Yuval is currently a Senior Advisor to DAI Magister, an investment bank which advises international technology and climate companies. He is also an Entrepreneur Mentor in Residence at the Institute of Entrepreneurship & Private Capital of London Business School.
Previously known as Celsius Health, Thermology Health is focused on the development of robust and reliable thermal imaging measurement in healthcare applications and has devised an innovative device for the early detection of diabetic foot ulcers. Yuval brings extensive knowledge and experience to Thermology Health and will support the team in advancing its pioneering technology.
