Supporting our people and community

We support all our people who wish to contribute toward charitable causes or volunteer in the local community. Examples include; scouting; school governors; sports coaches; reading books for the blind; and St John Ambulance.

Through our 'Time off for Volunteering' scheme we actively support staff who wish to work in the community. If staff want to take part in large-scale charity fundraising events, we allow time-off, make a contribution towards sponsorship or offer matched sponsorship.

NPL also holds a number of events to raise money for charity, including our annual Water Rocket Challenge, which involves schools from all around the country and raises money for a local children's hospice. We also hold charity golf days, book sales and other one-off charity activities.
